Short Pranic Healing Session for Overcoming Fear
Fear. We all have it. I feel like it’s the most commonly shared emotion amongst us because it’s an integral part of the human experience.
As Master Co has pointed out before, having a certain amount of fear is healthy and keeps us alive. The amygdala region of the brain, the part of the brain responsible for creating a fear response physiologically in the body, keeps us out of danger so we can make it to an old age.
However, if the amygdala becomes too good at what it does and overactive, our fears extend to things that don’t actually pose a logical danger to us.
Too much fear actually holds us back from taking risks, living outside of our comfort zone and doing new things that would help us live our most free, authentic, fulfilling lives.
This is probably the most common obstacle for many of my clients, and for me at different points in my life.
I find that when fear becomes so strong in our subconscious mind, it severely limits what action we would even consider taking. It acts like a strong limiting belief that keeps our lives small and unfulfilling.
That’s how strong it can be– it can limit our mind from even considering doing things that could really help us bring our gifts to the world, be a source of light in this world for others and living our most joyful, authentic lives.
You have to shift that fear to a lower level if you want to live out of your comfort zone to experience the magic in life that’s waiting for you!
So how do you shift fear?
Some people say, just fight through the fear and do it anyway. This is very effective but it only works if your fear is below a certain intensity. If your fear is so overpowering that you can’t actually move forward, this method doesn’t work.
Other people go to certain types of therapy, like cognitive behavioral therapy. This can be effective for some people, and for others, doesn’t give lasting results.
What’s a more effective, easier way to reduce fear so you can take the action and risks to better serve the world with your gifts and live your most fulfilling, joyful life?
